Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) is responsible for the management of the Government Pension Fund - Global (previously the Government Petroleum Fund), the Foreign Exchange Reserves and the Government Petroleum Insurance Fund. Manager - Human Resources
The Global HR team is looking for a proactive, structured and ambitious HR professional. The team is responsible for delivering best practice services to the organisation on all personnel matters. As a fast-paced international organisation in constant growth we are facing interesting challenges relating to recruitment, career planning, management development and process management. The HR Manager will work independently and proactively throughout the organisation, interacting with departments and staff in Oslo, London, New York and Shanghai. The position is located in Oslo, and some travel will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Full recruitment process in a high paced environment
- Campus program coordination
- Compensation and benefits benchmarking, year end processes and regular follow up
- Expatriation/repatriation including visa process and tax advice/coordination
- Participation in projects and HR development
- Employee relations
- Reporting
Required qualifications:
- Advanced university degree, preferably a Master’s degree with strong academic records
- 3-5 years experience as HR professional preferably in an international environment
- Skilled in use of HR tools, systems and Excel
- Strong knowledge of labour law and legislations
- Structured and accurate with ability to combine both daily business & strategic projects
- Willingness to take responsibility , and to be proactive and solution oriented
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral (English and Norwegian)
- Experience from financial services, asset management or consultancy within the financial sector will beconsidered an advantage
