Eitzen Group is the marketing name for a wide range of activities worldwide, within shipping, real estate and industry. The three listed shipping companies within the Group; Camillo Eitzen & Co ASA, Eitzen Chemical ASA and EMS Ship Management ASA employ about 1,200 people on shore and 3,000 sailing personnel from a pool of 6,000. In total, the Group own and commercially control more than 230 vessels within the chemical, gas, bulk and tanker segment. Eitzen Group has offices in 28 countries, with its head office in Oslo, Norway.
As an important part of our dynamic and international working environment, we seek:
INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
In this newly created position within the Eitzen Group’s central secretariat in Oslo, we are seeking a person who will be responsible for communications activities of our three listed shipping companies.
The role will primarily be to manage and develop the Group’s central communication channels, and will include:
- Development and utilization of the communication possibilities of our worldwide IT platform
- Editorial responsibility for the Group’s Inter- and Intranet and internal newsletter
- Project manager for three Annual Reports
- Provide the Group’s business areas with communication support
Skills required:
- Proven experience (min. 5 yrs) gained in corporate communications or marketing preferably in shipping or finance
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in public relations and/or communications
- Strong writing and presentation credentials
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Preferred knowledge to Microsoft Sharepoint
